Dr. Ben A. Sutter has been studying and treating TMJ dysfunction since graduating Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2005. He completed a General Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ in 2006, and currently practices General Dentistry as a solo private practice owner in Eugene, OR. Professor Luiz Moutinho (BA, MA, PhD, MAE, FCIM) is Visiting Professor of Marketing at the Faculty of Arts, Business and Applied Social Science, University of Suffolk, Ipswich, UK. Prof. Dr. Gulsen Meral graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine in 1994. She became a Pediatrician in 2001 and served as a specialist physician, deputy chief physician, and chief physician at various hospitals. She completed her doctorate in Medical Genetics at Biruni University. She holds a master's degree in Hospital Management and a bachelor's degree in Turkish Language and Literature. She served as Advisor to the Rector at Northern Cyprus ITU between 2019 and 2021. She has taught Nutrigenetics at the postgraduate level and has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in child development. She is also an acupuncture instructor. Michelle de Haan is Professor in Infant and Child Development at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. She leads the Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychiatry group. Previously, Michelle studied Child Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota and graduated with her PhD in 1996. Michelle’s research applies neuroimaging and neuropsychological methods to examine the brain underpinnings of typical and atypical cognitive (memory, executive function) and social development. Christie del Castillo-Hegyi, MD is an American board-certified emergency physician and one of the Cofounders of the Fed Is Best Foundation. She has published on and spoken at the NIH, the USDA, and in medical conferences about jaundice, dehydration, and hypoglycemia from insufficient feeding of exclusively breastfed infants and their long-term consequences to neurodevelopment. In 2016, she confounded a non-profit organization called the Fed Is Best Foundation to research, educate, and advocate for the prevention of these morbidities particularly during postnatal period when inadequate milk supply and other breastfeeding-related problems are most common. She obtained her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of New Mexico. He believes the Western approach is only one perspective on mental health services among Indigenous populations, and incorporating traditional Indigenous methods is crucial to effectively addressing the mental health needs of marginalized Indigenous communities. Thus, weaving Traditional methodologies is vital in working with marginalized populations across Indian Country. He has developed a culturally responsive approach called the ‘Sweetgrass Method,’ which focuses on weaving the best evidence-based practices and the best Indigenous strength-based approaches for the clients served. Dr. Baez and a group of experts develop of first of it’s kind suicide prevention screening tool specifically for Indigenous populations. This study was able to obtain content validity of this instrument called the ‘Indigenous S.A.F.E. Screening’ (ISS) tool. A pilot study on this instrument will begin in August 2025. Dr. Baez can assess and diagnose behavior and learning in adolescents and children, incorporating culturally responsive methods into his services. Prof. Meera Vaswani is a Tenured Professor at the WHO Collaborative National Drug Dependence Treatment Center, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi—India’s premier medical and research institution. Dr. Ben A. Sutter has been studying and treating TMJ dysfunction since graduating Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2005. He completed a General Practice Residency at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ in 2006, and currently practices General Dentistry as a solo private practice owner in Eugene, OR. Dr. Sutter sought out advanced education and training to treat both Neuromuscular issues and Dental Occlusion. He completed studies at the Las Vegas Institute, the Piper Education and Research Center, the Perfect Bite Doctor, at TruDenta, and with Equilibration Seminars. He has earned Fellowship status from the Academy of General Dentistry, the Las Vegas Institute, and the Center for Neural Occlusion. And Dr. Sutter is a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery and was awarded Mastership in the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics. He is an Adjunctive Professor at UNLV School of Dental Medicine and Faculty at the Vivos Institute.. He authored and/or co-authored over 40 peer reviewed articles and abstracts on Digital Occlusion and Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR). Most notably is a book chapter he authored three chapters in the Handbook of Research on Clinical Applications of Computerized Occlusal Analysis in Dental Medicine. A cornerstone of his practice is the diagnosis and effective treatment of Trigeminal Neuralgia without surgery or medications. He has served as the Editor in Chief of Advanced Dental Techniques and Technologies since the journal’s inception in 2018.

Prof. Girijesh Prasad is Professor of Intelligent Systems in the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems, Ulster University (UU), UK. He is Director of Northern Ireland Functional Brain Mapping (NIFBM) facility at UU’s Intelligent Systems Research Centre (ISRC), where he leads the Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnology research team. He received a BTech in Electrical Engineering from Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology) Calicut, India in 1987, an MTech in Computer Science and Technology from University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee), India in 1992, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Queen's University of Belfast, UK in 1997. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of IET, a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a founder member of IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics society’s Technical Committee on Brain-Machine Interface Systems. In 2017, he was awarded the Fellowship of International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) India, and the Senior Distinguished Research Fellowship of Ulster University. Prof. Prasad joined Ulster University, as a Lecturer in 1999; he was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2007, Reader in 2008, and Professor in 2011. Previously he worked in industry first as a Digital Systems Engineer and then as a Power Plant Engineer in India, and as a Research Fellow on an EPSRC/industry project at Queen’s University of Belfast, UK. His research interests are in intelligent systems, data engineering, brain modelling, brain-computer interface (BCI) & neuro-rehabilitation, and assistive technology. Under his supervision, an advanced rehabilitation protocol has been developed incorporating an active physical practice stage followed by a mental practice stage, using a neuro-rehab system consisting of a robotic hand exoskeleton and an EEG/EEG-EMG based BCI, which has been trialled on groups of chronic stroke patients in UK as well as India, resulting in transformative change in patients’ quality of life. He has published over 300 research papers in journals, edited books, and conference proceedings. He has supervised to completion 22 PhD students. His research has attracted 18 research grant awards amounting to over £10M funding from national and international agencies including Invest Northern Ireland, Department of Employment and Learning, Research Councils UK (RCUK), Leverhulme Trust, Royal Society, UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and Irish industry.

Codrina Ancuța is a leading Romanian rheumatologist, serving as Professor of Rheumatology at the prestigious “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iași - one of the oldest and most respected medical schools in Romania, Consultant in Rheumatology, and Head of the 2ndRheumatology Department at the Clinical Rehabilitation Hospital. She graduated from the same university in 1994, obtained her specialization in Rheumatology in 1999 and in Rehabilitation Medicine in 2001, defended her PhD in Internal Medicine on the challenging topic of rheumatoid myositisin 2005, and completed her habilitation in 2019 with a thesis entitled “Insights and Perspectives in Immune-Mediated Rheumatic Disorders.” With more than two decades of experience, she has combined clinical excellence with academic leadership, also coordinating the EUSTAR (European Scleroderma Trials and Research) Center 162 in Iași. Professor Ancuța has acted as principal investigator or team member in over 90 randomized controlled trials, reflecting her strong engagement in advancing evidence-based therapies. She has authored numerous ISI-indexed publications, with significant contributions to the understanding and management of biological therapies in rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies, and autoimmune rheumatic diseases such as lupus, systemic sclerosis, and Sjögren’s syndrome. She is also frequently invited by major pharmaceutical companies as an expert lecturer and scientific advisor, contributing to educational programs, symposia, and professional training activities in rheumatology at both national and international levels. Prof. Dr. Aslihan Çevik Baran is a neurosurgeon currently serving at Istanbul Aydın University and her private clinic. She completed her medical degree at Hacettepe University (English program) in 2007 and her residency in neurosurgery at Haydarpaşa Numune Education and Research Hospital in 2017. Her thesis focused on "Lumbar Spondylolisthesis Parameters and Posterior Instrumentation-Post-Fusion Evaluation." Dr. Arun Oommen is a senior and distinguished Consultant Neurosurgeon at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi, India, with over two decades of clinical, academic, and social service excellence. He is recognized as one of the pioneering neurosurgeons in India, having performed more than 3,900 complex brain and spine surgeries, including brainstem surgeries, neuro-endoscopic (keyhole) procedures, aneurysm surgeries, spinal injuries, and complex tumor resections. Dr. Oommen is among the very few neurosurgeons in India with expertise in brainstem and endoscopic neurosurgery. His landmark surgical achievements include Kerala’s first Synthes Codman Peek 3D skull reconstruction and the largest cranial reconstruction in Asia, along with performing aneurysm surgery on one of the oldest reported patients in the world. They share interests in mental health, disability, human rights, and children’s rights. They are passionate about using their knowledge and understanding to change the way society views and supports those who are neurodivergent. Both engage in advocacy and research and have published papers (as co-authors, lead author and experts by experience committees) in the fields of mental health nursing and psychology. They have co-produced numerous webinars and resources, including Article 39’s ‘Do You Get Me?’ training on the impact of inpatient mental health admissions on young people, and a presentation for Change Through Advocacy Week 2025. Most recently, they met with the Joint Committee of Human Rights in London as part of a roundtable discussing the Mental Health Bill. Saffron is currently studying for a Master's degree in mental health nursing.. As well as her work with Abi, she is a peer researcher with Young Women's Trust and country coordinator for the Philippines with Amnesty International, and holds advisory or ambassador roles with NHS England, socialworkvoices, Scope, and Autistic Inclusive Meets. She also presented at the 2021 and 2022 Autscape Conferences, on Autism in the Workplace and the Power of Zinemaking, respectively, and was on the panel for the Development and Delivery of a Children and Young People (CYP) Autism Train the Trainer Programme, rolled out nationwide within inpatient facilities. Dr. SARA ABIDAR is a PhD researcher in neurobiology. Sara defended her PhD in Biochemistry-Neurosciences in 2021 at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of Tangier, after a master’s degree in Techniques and Experimental Methodologies of Biotechnology in 2015 and a bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering in 2013 at the same university. Sara focused on the neuroprotective effects of Ceratonia siliqua L. (carob) against Parkinson’s disease induced in rodents and zebrafish. To achieve her goals, Sara has, in 2018, received the Eugen Ionescu scholarship to pursue her experiments at the Faculty of Biology at the University Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iasi in Romania. In 2019, Sara chased her dreams in the United States as she received the Fulbright scholarship, which allowed her to consolidate her research at the Department of Biology of the University of Arizona, Tucson. Sara published her research in prestigious journals and received an innovation award for her promising results in Morocco. Sara is an assistant editor for the journal Neurological Research (Taylor & Francis) and currently an associate member at the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, where she conducts research about the neuroprotective effects of phytochemicals against neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, in collaboration with different international research institutions.

Dr. Seyed Mohammad Masoud Shushtarian is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Biophysics and Biochemistry at the Tehran Medical Sciences Branch, Islamic Azad University. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Biophysics (Electrophysiology of Vision) from Pooma University, India. With over 140 research publications and more than 650 citations, Dr. Shushtarian is a leading expert in electrophysiology. He is also an active clinician at the Basic Eye Clinic in Tehran and has authored 9 books. Honored as a Model Professor by the President of Iran in 1997, he continues to contribute to academia through teaching biophysics and medical physics.

Ms Hala Harifi is a PhD student in her 5th year at Ibn Tofail University in Morocco. Her research focuses in particular on the impact of heavy metals on human health, toxicology and epidemiology, and she has worked on several molecules capable of protecting human health against environmental pollution due to heavy metals. Ms. Harifi is the author of several publications and frequently presents her research at international congresses and conferences, thus making a significant contribution to the health and the environment. Ms. Hala Harifi was the Moroccan representative in Abidjan at the international Francophone competition ma these en 180 Seconde in 2024.

Matthew Pirie graduated The University of Edinburgh following his studies in Neuroscience. Through research with the UKDRI, he studied the post-ischemic macrophage landscape, and has shared this work at multiple national and international events. Since then, he has continued his studies and research in the university, and will graduate from the MBChB course in the next academic year. He has also contributed to the educational field as a curriculum developer, with an accredited certificate in medical education.

I am Dr. Hamza G. Adamu, a passionate anatomist and committed biomedical researcher with a solid academic foundation in the field of human anatomy. I earned my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees (B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D.) in Human Anatomy from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; one of Nigeria’s leading institutions. My scholarly interests encompass various subfields of anatomy, including neuroanatomy, histology, and toxicology. A significant part of my research is devoted to exploring the mechanisms of neuroprotection and the role of glial cells in response to toxic and pathological insults to the nervous system.

Dr. Tosin Abiola Olasehinde is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the School of Life Sciences, University of Kwazulu-Natal, Durban, Westville South Africa. She obtained my Bachelors and Master’s degree in applied Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology Akure Ondo State Nigeria. She also obtained my PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Fort Hare, Alice, Eastern Cape South Africa. Her research works have focused on studying the biological activities of functional foods, and natural products of medicinal plants aiming at a better understanding of their implications on the brain health and metabolic diseases. Currently, my interest is focused on searching for functional foods as a sustainable source of bioactive compounds with the potential to be incorporated into new health-promoting foods. She have authored about 80 articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She is a recipient of several research awards, including the National Research Foundation of South Africa Fellowship award, Young Researcher grant sponsored by the African-German Network of Excellence and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, International Society of Neurochemistry-committee for Aid and Education in Neurochemistry (ISN-CAEN1A) award, International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) International travel grant award and Africa regional Council (IBRO-ARC) bursary award tenable at the Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. Dr. Hüseyin Anıl Korkmaz is a Medical Doctor, Pediatrician, and Consultant in Pediatric Endocrinology, currently serving at İzmir Dr. Behçet Uz Children Disease and Surgery Training and Research Hospital, Turkey. He completed his medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine (1998–2004) and undertook his pediatrics residency at Dokuz Eylul University School of Medicine (2005–2010). He later specialized in Pediatric Endocrinology through a fellowship at İzmir Dr. Behcet Uz Children Disease and Surgery Training and Research Hospital (2011–2014). Dr. Korkmaz has held multiple clinical and academic roles, including Consultant positions in pediatric endocrinology and nephrology, and has served as an Associate Professor at Manisa City Hospital. Her research centers on iPSC-derived neural differentiation and the use of stem-cell-based neuronal models to investigate Alzheimer’s disease. She focuses on elucidating disease mechanisms—particularly neuron-related pathways—through integrated omics approaches. She has published a paper in Stem Cell Research & Therapy and continues to advance stem-cell-based strategies for mechanistic discovery and therapeutic development in neurodegenerative disorders.

Dr. Kaouther Selmi is an Assistant Professor of Electronics and Computational Neuroscience at the University of Monastir, Tunisia. Her research lies at the intersection of electronics, nonlinear dynamics, and neural modeling, with a particular focus on simulating brain behavior through mathematical and electronic circuit approaches. She has authored and co-authored several scientific papers on topics such as chaotic neural systems, neuron–astrocyte–synapse interactions, and the application of Bessel functions in modeling multi-dendritic neuron behavior. Mr. Destiny Oghosa is a psychology undergraduate with a strong academic and professional interest in neuroscience, clinical psychology, and mental health. My work and studies focus on understanding the relationship between brain function, behaviour, and recovery, particularly within clinical and healthcare contexts. I have gained hands-on experience in hospital and pharmacy environments, where I supported patient care, multidisciplinary teams, and rehabilitation processes for individuals with neurological and communication impairments. These experiences have shaped my interest in neuropsychology and behavioural change, giving me practical insight into how neurological conditions affect cognition, movement, and everyday functioning. Through my psychology degree, I have developed a strong foundation in cognitive neuroscience, clinical psychology, and mental health. I have experience with research design, behavioural observation, and data analysis using tools such as SPSS, Excel, and PsychoPy, allowing me to engage critically with neuroscientific and psychological research. I am particularly interested in translating research findings into meaningful clinical and real-world applications. In addition to my academic work, I value collaborative discussion and knowledge-sharing within scientific communities. I enjoy exploring current neuroscientific research and communicating complex ideas in an accessible and engaging way. He was born in Viranşehir, Turkey in 1978. He was graduated from Viransehir Anatolian High School, Sanliurfa and 19 Mayis University / 19 Mayis Medicine Faculty, Samsun. He completed anaesthesiology residency program in Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Medicine / Anesthesiology and Reanimation Department, Izmir. He had pain fellowship program İn Health Sciences University Faculty Of Medicine Tepecik Training And Research Hospital / Anesthesiology and Reanimation Department / Algology Division, Izmir. He worked in Gaziantep Training and Research Hospital, Gaziantep as a pain physician. He has worked as a pain physician in Izmir Bakircay University since 2020. He became an associate professor in September 2022. He had World Institute of Pain (WIP) Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) Certification (10/2022) and Turkish Algology Society Board Certificate (2019). He had papers in algology literature and lectures in national or international congresses.

Claudia Piscitelli is a young Italian researcher who has distinguished herself in the field of neurosurgery for having conceived and designed (POC) “Galeno”, an innovative theoretical medical device designed for the treatment of patients suffering from serious brain diseases, such as severe strokes and cerebral hernias. The aforementioned medical device was entirely thought out, studied, and conceived by her. She also holds the patent. Currently a young and promising medical student at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome, about to graduate, Claudia has demonstrated a strong commitment and passion for neurosurgical research. Her device, “Galeno”, is conceived as a 3D-printed helmet designed to contain brain swelling, reduce edema, and optimize brain homeostasis. The design of the device integrates multidisciplinary knowledge, combining neurosurgery, neurotechnology, direct administration of drugs to the brain, and principles of biomedical and computer engineering. The aim is to provide precise control of the patient’s brain conditions, allowing targeted interventions in different areas. The theoretical device is equipped with sensors positioned between the helmet interface and the brain parenchyma, which continuously monitor parameters such as intracranial pressure, temperature, cerebral blood flow, and partial pressure of oxygen. This technology aims to replicate the physiological environment of neural tissue without damaging the nervous structures, while also offering the possibility of intervening directly through the use of drugs carried by nanoparticles. In addition to her commitment to neurosurgery, Claudia Piscitelli is also a reviewer of scientific articles and has participated as a speaker at numerous international conferences in the field of neurosurgery, consolidating her reputation as a young innovator in the medical field. Although still at the beginning of her career, Claudia has already shown considerable potential in the field of neurosurgical research, and her work on “Galeno” represents a promising contribution to the medicine of the future. Elia is a multidisciplinary researcher and academic with expertise spanning cognitive neuroscience, human–computer interaction, human–robot interaction, and computational design. He holds degrees in Psychological Sciences (BSc), Cognitive Neuroscience (MSc), and Computational Neuroscience and Cognitive Robotics (MSc), as well as a PhD in Design focused on haptic technologies for virtual prototyping and assistive applications. His research experience includes academic appointments and visiting positions at the Polytechnic of Milan, the University of Oxford, the University of Birmingham, and the University of Sussex, as well as industry research roles at Oculus Research / Facebook Reality Labs and Amazon. Dr. Sajad Haghshenas is a Cognitive Neuroscientist and Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in cognitive rehabilitation, neurodevelopmental disorders, and auditory processing in children with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder. He earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Shahid Beheshti University, where his research focused on the relationship between NMDA receptors and cognitive function in children with attention deficits. With extensive clinical and academic experience, Dr. Haghshenas has led multiple neurorehabilitation centers and taught university courses on sensory integration and executive function in developmental disorders. His expertise includes neurofeedback, brain stimulation techniques (TMS and tDCS), and quantitative EEG (qEEG). An accomplished researcher and author, he has published several scientific papers and co-authored the book The Principles of Successful Awake Craniotomy (Springer, 2023). Dr. Haghshenas is an active member of professional organizations including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Australian Cognitive Neuroscience Society (ACNS).
